About the Opportunity
A leading financial services and technology-driven organization is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. This is an opportunity to work closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on a broad range of commercial, regulatory, and transactional matters within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, technology, licensing, brokerage, and services agreements.
- Provide practical legal guidance on commercial, operational, and regulatory matters.
- Partner with business and compliance teams to support strategic initiatives and ongoing operations.
- Assist with contract management, template development, and legal process improvement initiatives.
- Support corporate, transactional, and other legal projects as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar admission.
- 3-6+ years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Strong commercial contracting and negotiation experience.
- Experience within financial services, fintech, capital markets, banking, or another regulated industry.
- Strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience
- Broker-dealer, trading, fintech, or capital markets experience.
- Familiarity with derivatives documentation, including ISDAs and related agreements.
- Exposure to digital assets, emerging technologies, or innovative financial products.
- Interest in working at the intersection of finance, technology, and regulation.
