A leading international law firm is looking to hire a 3+ PQE Associate into its IP Department in London.
This is a standout opportunity to join a high-performing, cross-disciplinary practice, working closely with partners, advising some of the most recognisable names across retail, sport and technology.
The Role
You will work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Soft IP work with a strong focus on trade marks (ownership, licensing, brand use)
- Technology disputes, particularly arising from B2B agreements
- Regulatory and consumer law issues, including compliance and disputes
- High-profile litigation, often at High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court level
- Cross-border work spanning jurisdictions including the EU and US
- Supporting key client relationships and delivering commercial, pragmatic advice
- Collaborating across practice areas on complex, multi-disciplinary matters
The Candidate
- 3+ PQE with experience across IP, technology and/or regulatory
- Strong grounding in soft IP, particularly trade marks
- Exposure to retail, sport or tech sectors would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with a strategic approach to problem solving
- Confident handling both contentious and advisory work
- Strong client-facing skills and an interest in business development
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced team
