Our client, A global leader in the sustainable technology and advanced manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel specialised in Employment Law to support its German operations. You will work closely with HR and leadership on high‑impact labor and employment matters in one of the company's largest and most complex markets.
Responsibilities:
- Advise HR and business units on a broad range of employment and labor law issues.
- Manage works council matters and support employment disputes and investigations.
- Draft, negotiate, and review employment agreements and policies.
- Develop scalable frameworks for employment contracts and compliance processes.
- Lead training, compliance initiatives, and process improvements.
- Monitor legal developments and shape internal strategies.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified German lawyer (1st & 2nd Staatsexamen, strong results).
- 4+ years' experience in employment law (law firm and/or in‑house).
- Strong expertise in works constitution law and works council interaction.
- Native‑level German and fluent English.
- Hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset; comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to prioritise, collaborate, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
