A respected national law firm is seeking a remote Litigation Associate barred in Indiana to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working alongside a collaborative and highly regarded team. From day one, you will take ownership of a diverse caseload, interact directly with clients, and play a meaningful role in all phases of complex litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a broad portfolio of defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Handle cases involving general liability, product liability, premises liability, construction defect, and transportation/vehicle liability claims.
Draft and argue motions, prepare legal memoranda, and develop case strategy.
Conduct legal research, file analysis, and risk assessments.
Take and defend depositions, interview witnesses, and participate in discovery.
Collaborate with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
Maintain high-quality legal work while effectively managing multiple matters and deadlines.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the Indiana Bar and in good standing.
2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in defense-oriented practice areas.
Experience handling motion practice, legal research, drafting complex legal documents, and depositions.
Strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a busy caseload while working effectively within a team environment.
Demonstrated attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to client service.
Strong academic credentials preferred.
