Commercial Counsel (Technology & Services Agreements)
A well-established technology-driven organization is looking to add an attorney to its in-house legal team, with a focus on customer-facing commercial agreements. This is a highly business-facing role supporting revenue-generating workstreams and partnering closely with internal stakeholders.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the drafting and negotiation of customer and commercial agreements, including software and services-related contracts
- Working directly with internal teams to support deal flow and move agreements through to execution
- Advising on contract terms, risk allocation, and third-party provisions in a practical, solutions-oriented way
- Acting as a key legal partner to the business, translating complex issues into clear, actionable guidance
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of experience handling commercial contracts (in-house or law firm)
- Strong negotiation skills and a business-minded approach to legal risk
- Experience working with customer-facing agreements or supporting sales teams
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Active bar license in Texas
