A leading Multi-Family Office is seeking a seasoned Trust Advisor to join its growing team. With over a century of history, the firm advises family offices and high-net-worth individuals. Reporting to the Head of Fiduciary Services, this role interacts with senior leadership and officers throughout to support office and firm growth.
Requirements:
- Ability to collaborate with clients' advisors
- Collegiate and energetic working style
- 5 + years of previous trust administration experience
- Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor or commitment to obtain the designation required
Responsibilities:
- Researching and reviewing probate, fiduciary, income, retirement plans, and estate planning issues apply effective solutions to individual client circumstances.
- Regularly review and interpret draft and existing trust instruments.
- Regularly communicate with clients, outside attorneys, tax preparers, and other advisors.
- Providing thought leadership to other team members to improve processes and training.
- Providing knowledge and guidance over administering new and existing accounts, including all aspects of the account opening process, account distributions, terminations, death, gift and GST administration, and gift tax return preparation
