A Global Aerospace Company is looking to bring on a Senior Counsel dedicated to ensuring data privacy and physical security compliance and protection. You will interface directly with leadership and security teams responsible for crisis management and incident response for both cyber and physical threats. This position will allow you to work with some of the top aviation and defense clients in the world on their cyber and physical security matters!
Responsibilities
The Senior Counsel will…
- Assist with all security-related issues including cybersecurity, national security, data protection, and risk mitigation.
- Create and implement cybersecurity and physical security programs and provide related training, exercises, and simulations to ensure proper protection from security breaches.
- Run and operationalize all crisis management and incident response for physical and cyber security threats and breaches.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Government Affairs and Cyber teams to ensure compliance with all emerging regulations and legislative trends.
Qualifications
The Senior Counsel should have…
- JD and admitted to the Washington DC bar.
- A combination of both Law Firm and In-House/Government data privacy and crisis management experience.
- Over 8 years of experience handling data protection, and cyber and physical security incident response.
- The ability to work with cross-functional business units on internal policy implementation.
- Able to acquire US Security Clearance.
