Their mission is to develop, operate, and maintain renewable energy projects that contribute to a clean and green environment. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team.
Position Overview:
As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal department in various renewable energy projects and initiatives. You will work closely with the legal team and business team while preparing real estate documents, handling title matters, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in renewable energy and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and maintaining real estate transactions
- Conduct title searches, review title reports, and identify potential issues related to property ownership and rights.
- Collaborate with external counsel, title companies, and internal stakeholders to resolve title issues and ensure clear property rights for renewable energy projects.
- Prepare and work with company's service provider to file applicable UCC statements
- Prepare closing checklists
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on title work and real estate transactions
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, title examination procedures, and governance principles
- Experience in the renewable energy industry is preferred, but not required
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
