A leading multinational pharmaceutical company is in search of an experienced IP Docket Specialist to join their legal team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the IP department to maintain and structure docket reports, safeguarding the company's intellectual property rights. Additionally, you'll support the global Intellectual Property team by producing patent reports, inputting data into the docketing database, issuing reminders, retrieving, and forwarding documents, and managing annuity payments.
The IP Docketing Specialist will be responsible for:
- Compile and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports to guarantee the receipt and review of all necessary responses/instructions, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.
- Verify that all correspondence is analyzed, interpreted, and docketed accurately according to the laws and regulations of respective countries.
- Create specialized reports tailored to specific informational requirements, such as quarterly reports for the Board of Directors.
The IP Docketing Specialist should have the following qualifications:
- An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Patent Center, ePCT, Europe Patent Register, WIPO PatentScope Publication Search, Trademark Status & Document Retrieval (TSDR), and CIPO trademark database.
- Strong communication, writing and proofreading skills.
