The ideal candidate is highly skilled in all things in IP and will have substantial experience in IP transactions with a deep understanding of IP law.
Key Responsibilities of IP Transactional Attorney:
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP agreements, including licensing, technology transfer, and join development agreements.
- Provide strategic guidance on IP transactions related to mergers, acquisitions, and commercial collaboration.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on IP assets and prepare detailed analysis for clients
Key Qualifications of IP Transactional Attorney:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in North Carolina (or eligibility for admission)
- 2-8 years of experience in intellectual property transactional work, ideally with an AMLAW 200 firm
- Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright law.
