As an Employment Law Attorney specializing in Administrative Agency Defense, you will be responsible for representing clients in the defense of each administrative agency charge and attorney demand letter assigned to you. This role entails navigating the legal process from investigation through conclusion, requiring frequent communication with clients and administrative agencies. Your duties will include drafting position statements, responding to agency requests for information, and advocating for our clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations. (NO LITIGATION)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting persuasive position statements to effectively defend clients against administrative agency charges.
- Responding promptly and thoroughly to requests for information from administrative agencies.
- Representing clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Providing sound legal advice and strategic guidance to clients throughout the defense process.
- Managing multiple deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure timely and high-quality work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years of experience practicing employment law, with a focus on administrative agency defense.
- Demonstrated familiarity and proficiency with administrative agency charges at both the federal and state levels.
- Proven track record of drafting compelling position statements and representing clients at hearings and/or mediations.
- Active bar license in the state of residence, with eligibility to practice law.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
