As the Director of Infrastructure Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic initiatives related to hazardous waste infrastructure development and environmental sustainability. Leveraging your extensive experience in environmental permitting, land use, real estate transactions, business development, and hazardous waste management, you will lead efforts to expand our infrastructure projects while adhering to the highest environmental standards.
The Director of Infrastructure Development will:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the infrastructure development department, guiding a team of professionals to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the permitting process for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Utilize your in-depth understanding of environmental laws and regulations to navigate complex permitting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify suitable sites for infrastructure development projects. Lead negotiations for land acquisitions, easements, and leases, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the infrastructure sector, cultivating relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry partners. Develop and implement strategies to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Provide expertise in hazardous waste management, overseeing the safe handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials associated with infrastructure projects. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
The Director of Infrastructure Development must have:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in any US state.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental permitting, land use planning, real estate transactions, business development, and hazardous waste management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading infrastructure development projects, with a focus on environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and permitting processes at the federal, state, and local levels.
