About the Role:
We've currently partnered with a global electrical and networking solutions company who is looking to bring on a Director of Ethics and Compliance. This position allows for growth, development, and visability while reporting directly into the CCO at a global firm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the refinement of protocols within the Ethics and Compliance program to assess third-party diligence, aiming to mitigate risks associated with external partnerships.
- Strengthen global anti-corruption and anti-bribery initiatives, ensuring compliance with economic sanctions laws, by staying updated on legal requirements, adjusting policies, utilizing data analytics, and conducting training sessions for local teams.
- Direct Ethics and Compliance investigation procedures, including developing relevant policies and protocols, and managing reports received via the company's ethics hotline and other channels.
- Supervise or conduct investigations, including facilitating interviews, documentation, and maintaining case management databases, while monitoring progress on remedial actions.
- Support the company's global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives by staying informed about relevant regulations worldwide, providing guidance to subject matter experts, and assisting with ESG-related customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree
- 5-10 years of experience in a Compliance-related role with a proven track record of leading programs.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry
- Third-party due diligence experience
- Familiarity with information technology and data analytics
