We have partnered with one of the Nation's oldest and largest health plans on a multi-hire campaign. The organization offers to their community and patients affordable insurance coverage including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and individual plans.
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Attorney to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical legal counsel, identify and research legal issues, assess risks, and draft and review essential documents. You will offer hands-on legal guidance to executives and management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identifies legal issues, assesses risks, and gives clear recommendations to leadership.
- Provides legal advice, risk assessments, and representation in courts, hearings, meetings, and negotiations.
- Develops standard documents and procedures to protect the organization, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Expertise in either Corporate Transactions and Contracts, Healthcare Regulations and Compliance Matters, or Physician Networks and Agreements.
Qualifications:
- JD from Accredited University
- Active Membership to Ohio bar
- 5+ years of experience in the above responsibilities at either a law firm or in house or a combination of both.
- Able to commute in to an office based in Cleveland on a weekly basis.
