Our International Private Bank client is looking for a compliance monitoring director to join their team, this role reports to the Head of Compliance and the budget on the base salary is 1M HKD per Annum.
Responsibility:
Compliance Monitoring & Testing Framework:
- Develop and enhance the compliance monitoring and testing framework for the bank.
- Design and implement risk-based monitoring and testing programs to assess compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry best practices related to compliance monitoring and testing.
Compliance Testing Execution:
- Plan and execute compliance testing reviews across various business units and functions.
- Identify potential compliance gaps, assess the effectiveness of controls, and recommend remedial actions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports of testing findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Internal & External Audit:
- Keep Abreast with audit/external review/inspection cases that are owned by Compliance
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in compliance or related disciplines are preferred.
- Extensive experience in compliance monitoring, testing and internal audit within the private banking sector
