A prestigious client of mine is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Attorney specializing in acquisitions, dispositions, and purchase and sale transactions to join our dynamic legal team. As a pivotal member for my client, you will provide expert counsel and guidance on complex real estate matters, ensuring compliance with all legal standards and facilitating successful transactions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and purchase and sale agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence reviews of properties, identifying legal issues and mitigating risks associated with transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
- Perform title examinations and resolve title issues to ensure clear and marketable title.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing real estate transactions.
- Manage and oversee the closing process, coordinating with fortune 500 clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Handle disputes related to real estate transactions, including litigation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom proceedings as necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Illinois.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) practicing real estate law with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and purchase and sale transactions.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex real estate transactions from start to finish.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues, evaluate risks, and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
