A small Bank is looking to add a Chief Financial Officer to their team! Working closely with the President/CEO, the CFO will actively align financial objectives for the Bank by shaping their Funds Management strategy. This role will sit on-site in St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the company's financial landscape to inform strategic decision-making, aligning financial strategies with overarching business goals.
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement, offering insights to enhance financial efficacy.
- Prepare and communicate in-depth financial reports tailored for diverse stakeholders.
- Ensure clarity and relevance in financial communication across the organization.
- Collaborate with the President/CEO in managing Investments, Liquidity, and Capital deployment in accordance with Bank policy.
- Provide timely and insightful feedback to management based on actual financial results, offering strategies for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in reporting financial information to the board, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Approve all financial reports to maintain consistency and precision.
- Occasional travel as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field, MBA preferred
- 7+ years Banking experience in financial management, credit analysis, investment strategies, and cash flow forecasting
- 4+ years in a direct leadership position
- Proficiency in utilizing relevant financial management technology systems.
- Certifications such as CPA, CTP, CFA are a plus
