Larson Maddox has partnered with one of the nation's leading health systems seeking an Assistant General Counsel. This experienced labor attorney will be responsible for bargaining with healthcare unions across the country and managing outside counsel in labor arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. This is a hybrid position that requires frequent travel and an active bar license in New Jersey.
Key responsibilities:
- The Assistant General Counsel will be responsible for working closely with leadership at the corporate and local levels
- Bargaining with healthcare unions
- Managing outside counsel
- 2 to 3 days onsite with frequent travel opportunities
- Experience working in the Healthcare industry, specifically with acute hospital care
Key Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from accredited Law School
- 8+ years of legal experience in law firm, agency, or in-house positions for a hospital or healthcare system
- Active bar license in New Jersey
- Labor counsel and collective bargaining arbitration experience
$240,000 - $250,000 base salary
