My client is a leading and growing Leading Commodity Trading firm and we are recruiting for a Trade Compliance professional to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all compliance related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market. We are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.
Responsibilities for this Trade Compliance - Commodity Trading
- Ensure compliance with global trade laws and regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact.
- Develop and implement trade compliance policies and training.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments and support third-party due diligence and screening.
- Liaise with customs and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve trade issues.
Requirements for this Trade Compliance - Commodity Trading
- 5-8 years' experience in trade compliance, preferably in energy, commodities, or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations (e.g., US, EU, Singapore).
- Experience with compliance systems and screening tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
