Role Overview
A top U.S. investment bank is seeking a Vice President of Regulatory Reporting to oversee key U.S. regulatory filings and the processes that support them. The role focuses on reliable execution, strong controls, and high‑quality submissions delivered through effective coordination across finance, risk, operations, and technology.
What You'll Do
You will manage the lifecycle of core regulatory filings, ensuring requirements are interpreted correctly, data is validated, and submissions are delivered accurately and on schedule. This includes designing reporting routines, reviewing results, resolving issues, and preparing summaries that clearly communicate outcomes to senior management and supervisory agencies. You'll also contribute to enhancements in data quality, documentation standards, and process effectiveness across the reporting environment.
Key Filing Focus
Direct, hands‑on experience with key Federal Reserve filings-specifically FR Y‑14 and FR Y‑15-is required.

You bring a disciplined approach to reporting, emphasizing data integrity, consistent controls, and transparent communication. You work closely with data providers and control teams, keep stakeholders informed about priorities and challenges, and escalate reporting risks promptly. You aim to reduce manual processes, strengthen stability, and maintain readiness for regulatory reviews.
Qualifications
Required
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting within a banking or financial services institution
- Strong preparation and review experience with FR Y‑14 and FR Y‑15
- Academic background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage tight reporting deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to senior stakeholders
Preferred / Bonus
- Exposure to FR Y‑9C, FFIEC 009, and FFIEC 101
- Experience with investment banking products or complex financial instruments
- Knowledge of regulatory capital and leverage frameworks (e.g., Basel III)
- Familiarity with reporting platforms or data tools such as Axiom
- CPA or similar professional certification
