Remote Labor and Employment Attorney

A growing employer-side labor and employment practice is seeking an experienced Remote Labor and Employment Attorney to support clients with workplace issues, agency investigations, and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys being a strategic business partner to clients and excels at drafting persuasive written advocacy in response to employment-related claims and complaints.

This role is heavily focused on administrative employment law matters rather than courtroom litigation.

Remote Labor and Employment Responsibilities:

  • Lead responses to EEOC charges, state agency complaints, and other employment-related administrative proceedings
  • Prepare persuasive position statements, legal analyses, and written advocacy on behalf of employer clients
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients on routine and complex employment matters
  • Advise employers on performance management, investigations, accommodations, wage and hour issues, leave laws, and workplace compliance
  • Draft client-facing guidance, legal updates, and risk assessments
  • Review and develop employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
  • Provide preventative counseling aimed at reducing exposure to employment claims
  • Build long-term relationships with clients through responsive and practical legal support

Remote Labor and Employment Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of labor and employment law experience
  • Experience representing employers before the EEOC and comparable administrative agencies
  • Demonstrated strength in legal writing and drafting
  • Strong client counseling and relationship management skills
  • Ability to independently manage a high-volume practice
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
