A fast-growing startup in the nuclear energy sector is scaling rapidly to meet the global demand for clean, reliable power. Backed by fresh funding, the team is focused on deploying small modular nuclear solutions and is building out its legal capabilities to support this growth.


The Opportunity
This role centers on leading two active litigation matters-one in federal court and one in Florida state court. The company is seeking a Litigation Counsel who can take full ownership of these cases and drive them forward with confidence and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead litigation strategy and execution for two ongoing cases
  • Draft legal briefs, manage filings, and represent the company in court
  • Prepare for and participate in arbitration
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction; Florida bar preferred
  • Proven experience in data theft or trade secret litigation
  • A proactive, aggressive litigator who's unrelenting in pursuit of results
  • Energy industry experience not required-litigation expertise is key

Additional Context:
The Florida case is currently under negotiation and may settle soon. If so, the scope of this role could shift. The company is open to both contract-based and full-time arrangements depending on candidate fit and availability.
