The Opportunity
This role centers on leading two active litigation matters-one in federal court and one in Florida state court. The company is seeking a Litigation Counsel who can take full ownership of these cases and drive them forward with confidence and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead litigation strategy and execution for two ongoing cases
- Draft legal briefs, manage filings, and represent the company in court
- Prepare for and participate in arbitration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction; Florida bar preferred
- Proven experience in data theft or trade secret litigation
- A proactive, aggressive litigator who's unrelenting in pursuit of results
- Energy industry experience not required-litigation expertise is key
Additional Context:
The Florida case is currently under negotiation and may settle soon. If so, the scope of this role could shift. The company is open to both contract-based and full-time arrangements depending on candidate fit and availability.
