A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex civil litigation while working closely with experienced litigators and trial attorneys. Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Take and defend depositions and manage all phases of discovery.
- Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and adjudication.
- Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Work directly with clients and develop litigation strategy.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated environmental, toxic tort, commercial, and construction disputes.
Key Qualifications
- Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
- 3+ years of complex civil litigation experience.
- Experience with environmental, toxic tort, commercial, and/or construction litigation preferred, but not required.
- Deposition, discovery, motion practice, and case management experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-service mindset.
