We are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial Partner-Level Labor & Employment Attorney to join a dynamic and nationally recognized practice. This is a leadership role for a seasoned attorney with a deep expertise in California labor and employment law, and a passion for client service and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex labor and employment litigation, including:
    • Single-plaintiff discrimination and harassment claims
    • Wage and hour class actions and PAGA claims
    • Wrongful termination and retaliation cases
  • Provide strategic counsel on employment law compliance, workplace investigations, and risk mitigation.
  • Advise clients on employment policies, handbooks, and training programs.
  • Represent clients before state and federal courts, administrative agencies (EEOC, DFEH, DLSE), and in arbitration.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to grow the practice and mentor junior attorneys.
  • Maintain and expand client relationships, contributing to business development and firm visibility.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 10+ years of labor and employment law experience, with a focus on litigation and counseling.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes cases and lead legal teams.
  • Strong client base or portable book of business (minimum preferred: \$500K) but not required.
  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Proven leadership, business development, and mentoring capabilities.
