Employment Litigation Associate - California (Irvine, Los Angeles, or Woodland Hills)

A premier management-side labor and employment law firm is seeking Employment Litigation Associates to join its California offices. Opportunities are available in Los Angeles, Irvine, and Woodland Hills. These roles offer the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse client base while taking on significant responsibility and direct client exposure.

The firm is seeking attorneys with 3+ years of litigation experience. While employment litigation experience is preferred, particularly involving California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA matters, strong litigators with a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law will also be considered for select openings.

Key Responsibilities

* Defend employers in complex employment litigation matters, including wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related employment disputes.
* Manage matters through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and resolution.
* Draft and respond to written discovery and substantive court filings.
* Prepare for and take depositions, defend depositions, and participate in hearings and motion practice.
* Collaborate with clients and legal teams on litigation strategy and case management.

Key Qualifications

* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
* Active California Bar membership.
* 3+ years of litigation experience.
* Employment litigation experience strongly preferred.
* Experience handling California wage-and-hour class actions and PAGA matters is highly desirable.
* Strong writing, legal research, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Compensation & Benefits

* Salary Range: $210,000 to $275,000+ depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
