A nationally recognized management-side labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated employment matters for employers ranging from middle-market companies to Fortune 500 organizations.
Responsibilities
- Defend employers in administrative charges before federal, state, and local agencies, including EEOC and state fair employment agencies
- Manage discrimination, harassment, retaliation, disability accommodation, wage and hour, and leave-related matters
- Conduct workplace investigations and advise clients on employee relations issues
- Draft position statements, motions, and other litigation-related filings
- Counsel employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws
- Support employment litigation matters through all phases of the dispute process
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas bar license
- Experience handling employment charges, investigations, and counseling matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage client relationships and work independently
- Prior management-side labor and employment experience preferred
