This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment that values excellence, initiative, and client service.

The successful candidate will have substantive experience handling California wage-and-hour class action lawsuits, including claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA). The role involves managing complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, and requires a strong command of procedural and substantive employment law.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings
  • Preparing and arguing motions, including dispositive and procedural motions
  • Taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
  • Collaborating with colleagues on case strategy and client communications
  • Supporting trial preparation and participating in settlement negotiations

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school
  • Superior writing and analytical skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • A self-starting attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to professional development and client service

Admission to the California Bar is required. Prior experience at a large law firm or boutique employment litigation practice is preferred but not mandatory.
