My client is a leading and growing Trust Firm and we are recruiting for a Legal Counsel to be based in the Singapore office to focus on employment law matters. You will be given the opportunity to support the business on all legal related matters in the region, and work closely with stakeholders in the market. We are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry and scale up with the business
Responsibilities for this Legal Counsel - Technology Firm
- Provide legal advice on employment law matters across multiple jurisdictions, including hiring, termination, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and workplace investigations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements, policies, and documentation.
- Advise on employment-related disputes and manage external counsel for litigation or mediation.
- Lead or support internal investigations involving employee misconduct or regulatory breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Compliance, and Corporate Governance.
Requirements for this Legal Counsel - Technology Firm
- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent law qualification
- At least 7 years of relevant law firm experience / in-house experience in employment law
- Prior experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house legal team within a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws in the region
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
