Corporate Counsel
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. This role will provide strategic legal advice and support across a broad range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilites
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership deals.
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal implications of business decisions and initiatives.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence and integration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international laws and regulations.
- Assist with intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright issues.
- Manage external counsel relationships and legal budgets.
- Develop and deliver training on legal and compliance topics to internal teams.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- 2+ years of legal experience, Big Law prefered
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment.
