Corporate Associate Attorney

A prominent Wisconsin-based law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join its growing Business & Corporate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, handling sophisticated business transactions, and collaborating with a highly respected team of legal professionals.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising businesses on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions and general business transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide variety of corporate and business law matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and commercial agreements
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other strategic transactions
- Counsel closely held businesses, middle-market companies, and entrepreneurs on day-to-day legal and operational matters
- Support due diligence efforts and transaction execution
- Work directly with clients and develop trusted advisor relationships
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Wisconsin bar admission, or ability to obtain admission
- 4+ years of corporate law experience
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions strongly preferred
- Background or experience in business, accounting, finance, or tax matters is a plus
- Strong drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and business development
