Senior Legal Technologist
Our client, a leading commercial law firm with a strong reputation across the Irish and international legal markets, is seeking a Senior Legal Technologist to join its expanding Legal Technology function. This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of innovative legal technology solutions across a diverse client base and range of practice areas.
Working closely with lawyers, project managers and clients, the successful candidate will take ownership of the technical delivery of complex data solutions projects, with a particular focus on eDiscovery, investigations, regulatory matters and data subject access requests. The role sits within a growing and forward-thinking team that is investing heavily in technology, innovation and AI-enabled legal services.
This opportunity would suit an experienced legal technology professional with strong technical expertise in RelativityOne and a passion for helping legal teams leverage technology to improve efficiency, accuracy and client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of data-driven legal projects, including eDiscovery, investigations and information governance matters.
- Act as a subject matter expert for RelativityOne, providing day-to-day platform administration, configuration, workspace management and troubleshooting support.
- Manage all stages of the data lifecycle, including collection, processing, review, analysis and production.
- Design and implement efficient document review workflows, incorporating AI and technology-assisted review tools where appropriate.
- Ensure the secure handling of sensitive client data and maintain compliance with relevant information security and data protection standards.
- Deliver quality control processes and validation procedures to ensure defensible and accurate project outcomes.
- Collaborate with lawyers, clients and project teams to scope requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to stakeholders on legal technology platforms and emerging tools.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of legal technology services and best practices across the firm.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of RelativityOne, including workspace management, user administration, review workflows and productions.
- Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with legal technology platforms used for document review, legal research, investigations or transaction management.
- Strong understanding of data management, information governance and data protection requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Degree qualified in technology, law, business, information systems or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting the delivery and adoption of AI-enabled legal solutions would be advantageous.
