Franchising, Senior Corporate Counsel

A global, multi-brand restaurant group with a strong U.S. footprint is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support its franchising operations. This is a high-impact role for an attorney who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across legal disciplines with a focus on franchise law.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the preparation, review, and filing of Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), franchise agreements, development agreements, and related contracts.
  • Advise internal teams on franchise marketing compliance, franchisee relationships (defaults, terminations, committees), and operational support.
  • Provide day-to-day legal counsel across areas including procurement, employment, litigation, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to manage risk and ensure legal compliance across business functions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission.
  • 5+ Years of Legal Experience
  • Strong experience in franchise law, ideally with a combination of law firm training followed by in-house counsel experience.
  • A generalist mindset with the ability to handle contracts, litigation strategy, and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.

Location & Structure:

  • Hybrid role based in the Western U.S. (Denver, CO or Covina, CA preferred).
  • Travel may be required domestically and internationally.
