A leading US law firm with a premier global finance and insurance practice is seeking a Structured Finance Associate to join its growing London team. The firm advises major insurers, reinsurers, investment managers, specialty lenders, private equity sponsors, and global financial institutions on sophisticated, cross‑border structured finance and insurance-related transactions.
The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on cutting‑edge, high‑value mandates within a market leading team. You will gain exposure to:
- Insurance‑linked structured finance transactions
- Public and private securitisations
- Structured credit products, including CLOs
- Insurance‑linked securities (ILS) and alternative capital solutions
- Capital relief transactions and risk transfer structures
- Regulatory considerations impacting insurers, reinsurers, and specialty finance platforms
- Complex cross‑border financings requiring innovative deal structuring
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' PQE gained within a leading US, Magic Circle, Silver Circle, or top international firm
- UK-qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
- Experience in structured finance, insurance, securitisation, or structured credit
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to manage workstreams independently
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to engage with sophisticated global clients
- Interest in advising across both structured finance and insurance-driven capital markets work
