Our client is seeking an experienced Non-Contentious Construction Lawyer to join their Construction team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a UK-qualified solicitor with strong private practice experience to work on sophisticated construction and development matters, advising clients on complex projects from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities:
- UK qualification with strong academics and relevant construction experience
- Training and experience gained within a leading UK or international law firm
- Strong experience advising on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters and associated transactional documentation
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to manage matters with appropriate autonomy, build strong client relationships and support junior lawyers within the team
About The Role:
- Advising on non-contentious construction matters across major projects, developments and transactions
- Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, guarantees and other construction documentation
- Advising clients on procurement strategy, contractual structures and risk allocation across complex construction projects
- Working closely with real estate, projects, finance and corporate colleagues on transactions with significant construction elements
- Managing matters and developing trusted relationships with clients, while supporting the continued growth of the wider Construction practice
