Real Estate Associate (Remote)
A growing boutique real estate group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented associate attorney with 3+ years of actual practice experience to join their Real Estate Practice in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced transactional environment and has a strong background in real estate due diligence, zoning analysis, and title/survey review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence for real estate transactions, including review of title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documentation.
- Analyze and resolve title and survey issues, including negotiation of title insurance coverage and endorsements.
- Review and interpret zoning codes, ordinances, and land use regulations to assess development feasibility and compliance.
- Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, consultants, and municipal agencies to facilitate smooth closings.
- Draft and negotiate ancillary documents related to acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance in connection with real estate assets.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of attorney practice experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on due diligence, title/survey review, and zoning matters.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly in identifying and resolving complex title and land use issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Active admission to a US state bar is required.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
