Corporate Associate Attorney
A highly regarded law firm is seeking Mergers & Acquisitions Associates to join growing corporate practices across a variety of U.S. markets. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to work on sophisticated transactional matters, gain meaningful client exposure, and take on increasing responsibility in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
Represent private companies, investors, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyers in a wide range of corporate transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, ancillary agreements, and related corporate documents.
Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.
Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings, and general corporate matters.
Support deal execution from letter of intent through closing.
Work directly with partners and clients across a variety of industries on complex transactional matters.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
3+ years of corporate transactional experience, preferably gained at a law firm.
Experience handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, business combinations, joint ventures, or other sophisticated corporate transactions.
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 - $450,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
