Our client, a full-service AmLaw200 law firm with an international platform is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join their growing commercial litigation business in the New York City office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a premier commercial litigation team handling sophisticated litigation matters in a collaborative, growth oriented environment while maintaining a hybrid work schedule. The role requires regular availability for court appearances.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage a robust commercial litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Conduct substantive trail preparation and courtroom advocacy
- Handle motion practice, depositions, hearings and court appearances
- Manage case strategy and day-to-day matter responsibility
- Utilize e-discovery platforms and technology throughout the litigation process
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop successful litigation strategies
Qualifications
- Active New York Bar admission
- 6+ years of litigation experience
- Strong trial preparation and courtroom experience
- Experience with motion practice and depositions
- Proficiency with e-discovery software
- Exceptional research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
