M&A Associate Attorney
Mid Level Corporate M&A - Charleston SC
We are currently looking for an experienced midlevel associate to join our clients Corporate M&A team in their dynamic Charleston office. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of Corporate M&A experience, with a preference for those who have private equity transaction experience.
Key Areas of Expertise and Experience:
- M&A Transactions: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, letters of intent, and related agreements.
- Partnership Agreements: Experience with partnership agreements, joint ventures, and limited liability company operating agreements.
- Transaction Management: Significant responsibility for closing M&A and related transactions.
- Due Diligence: Conducting thorough due diligence reviews.
- Client Advisory: Advising clients on general corporate/entity matters and business issues.
Candidates will collaborate closely with seasoned lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to take on increasing levels of responsibility and client interaction. We seek self-starters who can work independently as well as part of a team. Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality client service are essential.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $200,000 - $260,000 per year
- The final compensation for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.
