A respected, growth‑minded law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join its expanding practice. This role is ideal for a senior litigator with strong client‑management skills, significant experience handling complex disputes, and an entrepreneurial approach to building and sustaining a practice. Candidates with a portable book of business are strongly preferred.
Litigation Partner Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex commercial, business, and general litigation matters from initial assessment through trial, arbitration, or settlement.
- Provide strategic, solutions‑oriented counsel to clients across a wide range of industries.
- Maintain and expand client relationships while identifying opportunities for internal and external business development.
- Collaborate with partners across practice groups to support firmwide growth and enhance client service.
- Mentor associates and contribute to the development of the litigation team.
- Participate in practice‑group leadership, strategic planning, or committee involvement as desired.
Litigation Partner Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and active law license in good standing.
- Minimum of 8+ years of substantive litigation experience, including handling complex matters independently.
- Portable book of business preferred, but not required for exceptional candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
