Commercial Lending Associate Attorney

A highly regarded finance boutique law firm is seeking a Commercial Lending Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to take on sophisticated deal work, gain direct client exposure, and work closely with experienced partners in a collaborative, deal‑focused environment.

Commercial Lending Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Represent banks, private lenders, and other financial institutions in a broad range of commercial lending transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation, including credit agreements, security agreements, guarantees, and related ancillary documents
  • Support transactions involving syndicated loans, bilateral facilities, asset‑based lending, and cash‑flow financings
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence related to borrowers, guarantors, and collateral
  • Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal deal teams to move transactions efficiently from start to close
  • Assist with post‑closing matters and ongoing client needs related to lending facilities

Commercial Lending Attorney Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial lending or finance transactions at a law firm
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating loan documents
  • Familiarity with UCC filings, collateral structures, and lender‑side representations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligible for admission)
