Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-Senior Level) | Los Angeles or Orange County, CA
A prominent national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 4+ years of experience to join its growing California team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated employment matters within a collaborative, well-resourced platform that serves clients across a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including wage & hour disputes, PAGA actions, employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave and accommodation issues, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
- Manage both individual litigation matters and complex class action cases.
- Provide employment counseling and strategic guidance to clients on workplace compliance and risk management issues.
- Work closely with clients, partners, and legal teams on high-impact matters from inception through resolution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of Labor & Employment experience.
- Significant experience handling wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters is required.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and client-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while taking ownership of case strategy, client relationships, and professional development.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $225,000-$365,000, depending on experience.
- Potential discretionary bonus.
