A growing and highly regarded client, is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Corporate Law Partner to join their dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business of at least $500,000, a strong reputation in the legal community, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. This is a strategic growth opportunity for a partner looking to leverage firm resources, expand their practice, and contribute to a thriving corporate platform. This role is a new headcount and will sit in a 2 day in office, 3 days remote structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead counsel on complex corporate transactions including M&A, joint ventures, restructurings, and financings.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general business matters.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships while developing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to cross-sell services and enhance client value.
  • Mentor and supervise associates, contributing to their professional development.
  • Participate in firm leadership, strategic planning, and business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas state bar.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate law, ideally within a reputable law firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and manage a portable book of business of $500K or more.
  • Strong client-facing skills and a track record of successful deal execution.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative and collegial approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
