Salary: $125,000-$175,000

You will play a key role in handling a litigation caseload from beginning to end, helping sophisticated clients with nuanced legal issues. The Workers' Compensation Attorney Responsibilities:
- Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve complex workers' compensation cases efficiently and favorably for employers and insurance carriers.
- Prepare for and conduct depositions of claimants, witnesses, and experts to gather critical information and build strong defense cases.
- Gain exposure to and handle general liability cases, broadening professional experience and enhancing legal skillset.
- Perform legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents to support defense litigation efforts.
The Workers' Compensation Attorney Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in workers' compensation.
- Additional General Liability experience a plus.
- Must be barred and living in New York.
- Law firm experience required.
