Their legal team is hiring a Compliance & Ethics Specialist to manage their compliance monitoring program and support various compliance functions, including internal investigations and training. This is a hybrid role in the San Diego area with expectation of frequent travel.
Note: This role is in the legal dept. They are not looking for QA experience for this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform field and desk monitoring to ensure compliance with to relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and implement monitoring plans, including field rides and educational program oversight
- Track, analyze, and report on compliance monitoring progress, identifying trends and potential risks
- Provide compliance guidance and support for various initiatives and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of compliance experience in a life sciences field (biotech, pharma or med device)
- Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance laws, including FDA regulations
- Ability to travel frequently
