Our client is a Hong-Kong based private equity firm with a big focus on APAC. They are seeking a mid-senior legal counsel to join their team within the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with legal matters related to the formation, structuring, and establishment of funds, which involves tasks such as composing and examining offering documents, subscription agreements, and service level agreements.
- Assist with the negotiation and execution of investment transactions
- Good judgement, analytical skills, and confidence in expressing themselves to adapt to the rapidly evolving industry and regulatory environment
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working in top-tier law firms and/or fund houses
- In-house experience or fund-related compliance experience would be a plus
- Strong business sense and ownership and the ability to provide practical legal advice
- Ability to work independently, while also having the teamwork spirit
- Fluent in English, while having fluency in Mandarin would be a plus
- Quick witted and smart individuals who can think on their feet
