This attorney will work closely (on a hybrid schedule) with their legal team out of their corporate office in Aurora, IL. As Senior Legal Counsel you will be able to join a motivated team and be responsible for providing legal advice on all commercial, transactional, and general litigation matters with their businesses nationally and internationally.
You will be responsible for…
- Negotiate, draft, and review a variety of corporate and commercial agreements, including M&A, purchase, and sale agreements, etc.
- Assuring the company is aware and compliant of all relevant regulatory updates on federal, state, and local levels.
- Provides counsel and support to the manufacturing operations, procurement and sales groups on various legal issues including contracts, litigation, dispute resolution, best practices, etc.
You should have the following qualifications…
- Experience with M&A, contracts, and drafting
- Minimum of 6 years legal experience within corporate law (PP or In-House)
- Exposure within corporate manufacturing companies a plus
