In this role as the Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for working closely with their General Counsel in Denver, providing legal guidance on various projects, compliance and contract negotiations.
Job responsibilities include…
- Draft, analyze and negotiate project contracts throughout multiple phases of the organization including operational and maintenance agreements and construction agreements
- Conduct legal research in the renewable space for new projects and business ventures
- Provide legal advice on project management, with a focus within the solar and wind space
Key Qualifications include…
- 5+ years of senior level decision-making experience in the renewable energy space within an organization focused in financial services or a top-tier law firm
- Experience with contract drafting, negotiations and closing final agreements
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team on varying projects
- Must be based or ready to relocate to Denver
