Title: Paralegal- Coporation Formation/Governance
Salary: 70,000-90,000
Summary: A real estate investment and advisory firm dedicated to healthy projected growth. This firm focuses on acquiring and shifting previously devalued real estate assets and reintroducing these assets into the market.
Responsibilities:
⦁ Aid in the preparation of reviewing real estate processes and documentation, including title, survey, zoning, and other documentation. Also aiding in the preparation of opening/closing of real estate
⦁ Aid in the preparation of real estate contracts, paying close attention to amendments, postscripts, and other tenant and landlord contracts
⦁ Assistance in preparation of land use and zoning within specific municipalities. This includes extensive research on municipals zoning laws, as well as research regarding specific tax credits
⦁ Aid the general counsel in other necessary areas concerning key industries
Qualification:
⦁ Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Paralegal certification from an accredited program/institution
⦁ Minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience within employment law and real estate and commercial real estate law experience is a plus
⦁ Ability to multitask and work on several time-sensitive tasks at a time
⦁ Strong understanding of legal jargon and the industry writ large
⦁ Microsoft office and comparable software skills
⦁ Ability to demonstrate leadership, strong interpersonal relationship skills, self-management, and problem-solving and resolution skills
