A global client is looking for an Associate with 5+ years of experience to join our Litigation Business Unit in Southern California. This role focuses on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. While the position is flexible in terms of location, all candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in civil litigation and automobile warranty defense
- Familiarity with the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act
- Proven track record in trial/arbitration preparation and courtroom experience, including motion practice, depositions, and mediations
- Exceptional skills in advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation
- Strong academic credentials
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a solid work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $165,000-200,000 annually, based on a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by factors such as qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market conditions.
