This mid-level attorney will work alongside the corporate finance team, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions for various high-profile clients and its subsidiaries. You will be responsible for…
- Advising on corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters, with frequent communication with the board of directors
- Providing legal support on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and investments for the organization and its subsidiaries
- Conducting legal research and provide regulatory updates to various departments and personnel
- Building strong client relationships, by providing creative solutions to meet their business needs, while mitigating risk
- Drafting, negotiating, and closing of financial and reinsurance-based transactions
You should have the following qualifications…
- 5+ years of legal experience in the corporate financial and/or insurance services sector within a law firm or as in-house counsel
- 5+ years of complex mergers and acquisitions experience
- D. from an accredited law school
